The dramatic and sensual nature of tango also appeals to many, as it offers a way to express feelings and emotions through movement.
To dance is to move rhythmically to music, expressing emotions, thoughts, and feelings through bodily movements. It's a form of self-expression, cultural tradition, and sometimes even a form of communication. When people dance together, it becomes a shared experience. Dancing together fosters a sense of connection, unity, and harmony among individuals.
Tango has a rich cultural heritage and a sense of tradition that attracts enthusiasts from all over the world. Tango is not just a dance; it's a cultural phenomenon that reflects the social dynamics, emotions, and history of Argentina, it's the elegance of the dance or the soul-stirring music, tango has a timeless appeal that continues to captivate audiences globally.
Dancing improves brain function and boosts memory. Several studies have shown that dancing is linked to a reduced risk of dementia. In a study by researchers at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, they found that dancing is associated with 76% reduced risk of dementia among the participants.
Dance was also found to be an accessible and enjoyable form of exercise for people with PD (Parkinson's desease), with particular benefit to mobility and wellbeing in the early stages of disease progression.
